I Didn't Walk...

Walking was one of the exercises on my list today... walking outdoors. But it was windy and rainy and I didn't want to walk in that. I like walking in good weather but not bad weather. But I did do my stretching things and I did walk around and around inside the house. I didn't go shopping, should have, but just felt out of it today.. not a good day today.

Seems the neighbor across the street.. the dingbat one who put a sign on our mailbox last winter telling us our dog was not a good neighbor because he barked... went to the office and complained that the dog is barking too much. Well. The dog does bark. He barks everytime someone goes by and everytime someone is in their yard.... but he doesn't stand at the window and bark constantly because I don't let him. When he starts barking I make him stop. And I know his bark isn't shrill or piercing outside the house. Yes it's bad if you are inside with him. How do I know this? Well the fellow behind us has the same kind of dog as ours and he barks everytime someone goes by etc... I hear his dog bark but it doesn't bother because it's not piercing. I know if I were inside the house it would bother. But that distance away it just doesn't bother. This woman is nuts. She sits inside her house and yells at her television. And what's more she has a dog she claims she was only keeping for her sister.. that was six months ago and she still has it. The rules in the park say no dog over twenty pounds.. hers is a big black lab. Guess how much that weighs. I don't care if she has it. I've never complained. All I really want is for people to leave me alone. Can't believe how petty some people can be. Don't they know how short life is? Don't they know there are real big things in this world that should be addressed, fought for and reckoned with... why why bother with a little dog who barks when someone walks by. HE is never left alone and he does not bark continuously. That's the reason I don't try and make friends... people make me sick.
