Busy ness

It started out by me looking for a little jewelry box to put in my bathroom.. just something simple where I could drop my bracelets and rings at night.. Ok here's one on my dresser, let's use that. But wait it had to be cleaned out first and all the little 'things' in it had to be sorted. And there were many 'things' in that little box... so I sorted them all out in piles.. one pile for the garbage, one pile of safety pins, one pile of bobbi pins, various buttons, three watches, none of which run. And there was an aids awareness stamp pin I've had for a long time. It was a gift from the post mistress in Esparto years ago. There were two long pocket knives.. didn't try to open them. I cleaned it and relined it with some green felt.. dropped my bracelets in and shut the top... ooops the top wouldn't shut. The bracelets were bumping the top little tray. Ok that won't work. We'll just use the jewelry box grandpa made for me.. it's bigger and has two drawers. I can use the top drawer for the bracelets.. it will be easy and convenient and look nice on the top of my glass shelving in the bathroom..... so I went through the same process, sorting, tossing, making piles, remembering stuff, and trying to remember stuff. Got all done, cleaned it inside really well and took it in to set it in it's place on the top shelf...... but it was too wide. Would not fit in the space I had for it. I have another plastic type box that I keep inside a drawer with other jewelry in it but it's not pretty and besides it's hard to open.. so I still have nothing to put my bracelets and rings in when I take them off at night. For now they are in the bedroom in the top drawer of the jewelry box grandpa made.. they fit good there but I need them to be in the bathroom.. that's where I dress and undress.. but have no box, no dish, no container... I better go shopping tomorrow. Maybe I can find the perfect thing. J
